We have a brand new puppy called Ceri.
She is learning to be a therapy dog, just like Map.
Map was a wonderful dog, but he’s on a new journey.
Ceri has big paws to fill, but she is special, too.
Children love to lean on Map for sensory input.
Map is a certified therapy dog (CGC, American Kennel Club Canine Good Citizen’s award, 2012)
and accompanies me to see young children who need a comforting presence of a dog.
Map also helps children engage in speech interactions. Sometimes he watches a child makes his first sounds.

Often he works with a child in play and is trained to follow him as he engages in an activity
