Speech Therapy for Siblings

They are learning to see each other’s perspective and be flexible.

Children respond to music and make social connections as they play. I often use a set of drums to bring siblings together in special interactions. We work on speech pragmatics before they use the instruments. They decide what they want to play, and plan together. Music helps the brain organize thinking and is important for language interactions. Research shows a strong connection between language development and music.
